Position Title

Description

Senior Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

Provides database administration support for an enterprise database environment; manages complex Oracle replication jobs across the distributed systems; analyzes database related issues and provides accurate and rapid resolution;  evaluates all systems for enhancements provided by developers and assesses impacts on system functions and the operational environment; provides expertise and advice on the day-to-day function of the production and test environments; acts as the liaison between the operational database administration and developmental database teams.

Requirements: 

·         Three years of Oracle DBA experience in complex multi-site environment;

·         Two years of experience in a multi-site, Oracle advanced replication architecture, data warehouse experience;

·         One year of experience with Linux Red Hat administration.  Oracle DBA 10g certification a plus.

Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

Provides database administration support for an enterprise database environment; analyzes database system trends and recommends enhancements.  Executes database tuning to optimize system performance; analyzes database related issues and provides accurate and rapid resolution; evaluates and recommends database monitoring solutions; monitors and maintains the replicated, distributed enterprise environment; assists in the rollout of database system enhancements to the production and test environments.

Requirements: 

·         One year of Oracle DBA experience in data warehousing and complex multi-site environment;

·         One year of experience with Oracle’s advanced replication architecture;

·         Oracle DBA 10g certification a plus.

SQL Server Senior Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

Provides database administration support for an enterprise database environment;  manages complex Oracle replication jobs across the distributed systems; analyzes database related issues and provides accurate and rapid resolution;  evaluates all systems for enhancements provided by developers and assesses impacts on the system functions and the operational environment; provides expertise and advice on the day-to-day function of the production and test environments; acts as the liaison between the operational database administration and developmental database teams.

Senior Systems Engineer (MS Windows)

Responsibilities:

Provides expert systems engineering support; evaluates existing systems performance and assesses new technology towards the modernization of enterprise systems; develops systems test requirements and plans; executes comparative systems testing, analyzes results, and documents findings for management review.

Requirements: 

·         Five years of practical enterprise operations and maintenance support in a project of similar scope and size, three years of experience in WAN/LAN administration (Cisco routers/switches);

·         Three years’ experience  in MS Windows 2003 or latest server and domain administration;

·         Three years’ experience with PVCS Tracker, Remedy Action Tracker, MS Visio, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint.

Systems Engineer (MS Windows)

Provides specialized, expert systems administration support; monitors the day-to-day operations of the enterprise application server environment; collects and analyzes server statistics and recommends short and long-term resolutions to issues before they become critical; plans and executes systems backup and archival; coordinates external vendor assistance to support systems as required; troubleshoots systems and user problems in the enterprise environment.

·         Three years of experience in enterprise help desk operations;

Quality Assurance Manager

Requirements:

·         Strong client-facing skills

·         Strong project management experience including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

·         Knowledge of structured analysis or object-oriented analysis methods.

·         Proficient in IT technologies across several platforms including web, client/server, mainframe, DBA, etc.

·         Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

·         Proficient with all Microsoft Office 2000 or 2003 tools.

Transition Manager

Requirements:

·         A suitable degree and several years of experience working in an IT, telecom or mobile services environment.

·         Developed a good understanding of key web architecture stack and technologies including: SOA and typical services back-end infrastructure elements, Open Source, Apache Web Server, JBoss application server, Tomcat, Oracle, MySQL, JDK 1.x etc.

·          Project/program management certificates and ITIL certification.

·         Experienced in working with virtual and multicultural teams.

Integration Manager

Responsibilities:

Manage the integration of multiple vendors and contracts in support of the mission; manage customer expectations and deliverables activities; plan and track project deliverables to satisfy contractual requirements; understanding the customer and stake holders and applying this knowledge to achieve project objectives. Plan and track resources, and financial budget information for  assigned projects; communicate and identify dependencies among other areas of the organization for achieving  assigned project objectives; manage the virtual team of consultants, external consultants, and sub-contractors as a single team; be the central technical and functional Point of Contact for customers; develop new or modify existing processes or technical components to increase productivity, accuracy, and security; integrate technical components within an overall solution; if required, provide third level production support to customers. 

Requirements:

·     Must have 3+ years of IT program management experience

  • PMP certified
  • Knowledgeable of systems engineering, development, testing, data center operations, ITIL, and CMMI Level 3.

 

Document Specialist

Responsibilities:

Researches, organizes, develops, writes, revises and updates technical publications including the following for IT Production support:  SLAs, SOPs, user manuals, product manuals, design documents, drawing diagrams, software release documents, general specifications, work instructions and other duties as required.

Requirements:

·         Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Visio, Adobe read/write and graphical applications;

·         Thorough technical understanding and superior attention to detail,  and accuracy skills;

·         Experience with FrameMaker 6.0(+), Adobe Illustrator 9(+) or other publishing packages and presentation tools is a plus;

·         AutoCAD and multimedia experience a plus;

·         Knowledge in the practice of intranet and internet communications a plus;

·         A minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical writing and proven industry application knowledge in electronics.

SAN Specialist

Responsibilities:

Working under the general supervision of the systems & storage manager, the storage engineer will administer storage in an enterprise environment, train staff in complex topics, give presentations to internal audiences and interact with senior management; and schedule weekend on-call functions. 

Requirements:

·         Independent problem-solving, self-direction and documentation skills;

·         Expert in all aspects of storage administration; for example, configuration of disk sub-systems, data migration, data protection and disk to disk backup/restore;

·         A solid understanding of Linux-based operating systems and Windows Server operating system, and the storage utilities used by them;

·         In-depth understanding of fiber channel and network-based storage concepts; working knowledge of zoning and redundancy, storage design concepts, and their implementation into the enterprise environment;

·         Familiarity with storage concepts for MS Exchange 2003;

·         Ability to write scripts in various administrative languages (Tk, Perl, VBScript, a shell);

·         Enterprise storage solution experience (SAN, NAS and direct-attached disk) in an open systems environment. Knowledge of hardware and software from key storage vendors (EMC, IBM, Brocade, McData, NetApp);

·         Five years or more of storage administration experience;

·         Two to five years of system administration experience;

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing purchase justifications;

·         Two years of college or equivalent related education. A degree in computer science or a related field preferred.

Installation and Configuration Manager

Responsibilities:

Engineering of solutions for various project and operational needs. Install new and/or rebuild existing servers, and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc., in accordance with standards and project and/or operational requirements.

Install and configure systems supporting infrastructure applications; develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; contribute to and maintain system standards; research and  recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for operations and system administration tasks;

identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.

Requirements

·         Associates (2-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.

·         Comp-TIA A+ systems certification and MCP or equivalent

·         Two to three years of systems experience in a Windows/Linux environment.

·         Ability to transition easily between conceptual work and task-oriented work.

·         Ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions while still maintaining high operational compliance.  

Facilities/Data Center Mgmt:

 

Responsibilities: 

Managing data center space, racks, staging, and facilities.

ViewStar Application Administrator

               

 

Responsibilities:

Provide ViewStar 5.2 support and should be familiar with installation, troubleshooting and all accepts of ViewStar 5.2 to include “InfoStor at Work” and document queues.  At least 3 years of ViewStar experience is required to successfully complete the O&M task.

Oracle SOA

 

Responsibilities:

Oracle Service Oriented Architecture is a suite of tools to manage and control Oracle’s implementation of SOA.  The contractor will support Oracle SOA both from a database standpoint and from an application and tools view.  An expert level of skill in Oracle SOA is required to meet the requirement.

Project Lead Web Support

Responsibilities:

Negotiates scope definitions of web projects with customer and developers; participates in the customer JAD sessions; must work with customer web development partners and cyber security.   

 Requirements:

·         Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

·          Minimum 3 yrs experience in Web development (HTML, JAVA J2EE, ColdFusion, XML, JavaScript, FrontPage, and Visual InterDev).

·          Minimum 2 years experience with Oracle database and web development tools (PL/SQL, stored procedures, OC4J, JDeveloper).  

·         Minimum 1-year experience with web security tools and concept (certificate based web security, PKI, SSL, TLS, firewall and DMZ architectures). 

·         Must have experience with 508B compliance tools and how 508B regulations apply to the Government's usability efforts.

·          Must have knowledge of JAVA framework tools (Real Methods, WebSphere). 

·         Must have knowledge of UML tools (TogetherSoft or Rational Rose). 

·         Must have Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience in application development.

Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 and SCCM 2007 System Support

Responsibilities:

The Contractor(s) will provide support at the Tier II and III levels to maintain and support the SMS 2003 environment. This includes suggesting recommendations for upgrading the product. 

Microsoft SQL Server Administration and Support

Responsibilities:

Provide all levels of support for maintaining all O&M Microsoft SQL Server environments; this includes backups, resource monitoring and upgrades. 

Logistics System Support

Responsibilities:

Support and maintain all aspects of customer asset database.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management and Trading Partner Management products. 

Microsoft SharePoint WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007 System Administration

Responsibilities:

Support, develop, upgrade and maintain and all Microsoft SharePoint technologies.

Microsoft Active Directory Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:

Maintain and support Active Directory environment including troubleshooting domain controller and DNS issues. 

Senior  Operations Systems (MS Windows)

Responsibilities:

Provides expert systems operation and maintenance; evaluates existing systems performance and assesses new technology towards the modernization of enterprise systems; develops systems test requirements and plans; executes comparative systems testing, analyzes results, and documents findings for management review.

Requirements: 

·         Five years of practical enterprise operations and maintenance support in a project of similar scope and size;

Provides specialized expert systems administration support assistance; monitors the day-to-day operations of the enterprise application server environment; collects and analyzes server statistics and recommends short and long term resolutions to issues before they become critical; plans and executes systems backup and archival; coordinates external vendor assistance to support systems as required.  Troubleshoots systems and user problems in the enterprise environment.

Requirements: 

·         Three years of practical enterprise operations and maintenance support of trouble ticket analysis, trend analysis, escalation procedures, monitoring service level compliance;

·         Expert knowledge in Remedy ticket management system;

·         Three years of experience in enterprise help desk operations;

·         One-year experience in MS Windows 2003 or latest version server and domain administration;

·         One year experience with PVCS Tracker, Remedy Action Tracker.
